Meet Our Leadership Team

  As the Head of School of the Montessori School Rochester & Crystal Lake, I opened the school in 2010 to meet the needs of students and families needing alternatives to the conventional schooling system.  The Montessori School Rochester now educates over 250 students at two campuses located in Rochester Hills and the North Bloomfield area. 

Montessori certified in Early Childhood and Adolescence through 12th grade, I hold diplomas from both the American Montessori Society (AMS) and the Association Montessori Internationale (AMI). Paired with my Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Michigan, I bring creativity to the classroom that inspires genius. I lead with kindness and compassion to create learning environments rich in creativity. 

I am honored to be the Program Director of Children’s House, 2 months old – 5 years old, here at The MSRCL since 2021. Prior to that I was the Lead Guide in the infant room at our Rochester campus for two years. I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Education from Central Michigan University as well as an AMS Montessori credential.  

In my 12 years as a Montessori guide, I have had the privilege of working with infants, toddlers, and primary students and sharing my passion of Montessori with others. In my free time I enjoy being outdoors, reading, and spending time with my husband and my daughters. I am looking forward to working with you and your child this school year!  

 I am the Program Director of the Elementary and Middle School since 2021. I am a certified AMS Montessori Guide with 23 years of Montessori educational leadership experience including 8 years as Director of a private school. I have a BA from the University of Michigan-Dearborn and 2 Montessori credentials.  

My first introduction to Montessori, I couldn't believe what I observed; the beautifully prepared environment rich with inviting materials and children moving about peacefully. As I learned more about the philosophy, I knew that I wanted to pursue a Montessori teaching credential. I'm grateful to be in a profession that allows me to work with dedicated Montessori educators who have changed the lives of many children.
